Tudor Cisu laid the first stones that would eventually lead him to his current life and achievements back when he was in high school. During those years, from 2004 to 2007, he was a regular recipient of various academic awards and scholarships from Fayetteville-Manlius High School and other outside school groups and organizations.
The recognition he received was not only limited to his alma mater though. His brilliance even earned him New York City’s appreciation when he was awarded with New York State Scholarship for Academic Excellence in 2007.
Tudor Cisu’s familiarity with achievement pushes him to invest on other aspects of his future. He, for example, acquired practical skills in different languages, computer programming, and competitive sports like table tennis and Frisbee.
For four years, he spent his summer at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center as a volunteer transporter and Kumon Math and Reading Center as a tutor. These experiences were able to make him feel comfortable with people who came from different backgrounds.
To common observers, these achievements should be enough to make someone complacent. But not for Tudor Cisu. He lives a life of taking full advantage of skills and potentials to ensure a future of accomplishments. Currently he is pursuing a career as physician scientist at Binghamton University, which he hopes will not only earn him his license and doctorate degree in Medicine, but will also help him contribute significantly in medical research.
Working with Tudor Cisu is said to be a very rewarding experience as said by the few people who have had the opportunity to work with this brilliant young man. He is intelligent and possesses a high potential as compared to other persons in his age. Tudor Cisu can readily adjust to any group that he is assigned in.

The Binghamton sophomore, who recently applied for the American Heart Association’s Undergraduate Student Summer Fellowship, already knows what career path he wants to take. Currently in premed, with double majors in Biochemistry and Mathematics, Tudor Cisu is determined to become a physician scientist.
Tudor Cisu goal of advancing health care through scientific research comes as no surprise to those who know him from summers spent at St. Joseph Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, New York, where he was a volunteer transporter for four consecutive years.
Born in Romania Cisu moved to the Syracuse area in 1998 and has been winning awards for Latin, Mathematics and over all Academic Excellence ever since.
People who have worked with Tudor Cisu in the past only have good things to say about this young man. They all agreed that Tudor Cisu is a talented person who excels in many different fields. He is calm under pressure and is at home with solving problems and riddles. However even though Tudor Cisu is extremely good when working by himself, he is still better when he is in a group.
